I was born and brought up in London, I studied Music and English Literature at Middlesex Univerity.
I later qualified as a teacher obtaining my CELTA certificate in London.
After finishing my studies, I worked at various jobs to support my music work before I
moved to Spain 25 years ago and worked both as a musician and a teacher.
I moved back into English teaching about 8 years ago and have been teaching mostly In-Company during that time.
I also work every year at the Escuela Oficial de Idiomas in Drassanes teaching on their intensive summer courses.
When I am not in the classroom, I am usually working on my music and gigging in Spain and Europe. I also like reading, cinema, escaping the city centre and mountain trekking.
What I like most about teaching English is meeting different people from different walks of life and learning from them as well as trying to motivate them to learn from me. In class, I like to focus on speaking and listening activities
and I aspire and hopefully manage to make my classes as interesting and as communication-based as possible.
